Q1. | What is a Payee? |
A | A Payee is the person receiving the funds. |
Q2. | What can I do with this feature? |
A | This feature allows you to add the payee that you wish to make a funds transfer to. Once you have added the payee successfully, you may proceed to transfer funds or add another payee by clicking on “Make A Transfer To This Payee” or “Add Another Payee” button. |
Q3. | Who can I transfer funds to? |
A | You can transfer between your own UOB Savings/Current accounts, from your UOB Savings/Current accounts to a third-party UOB Savings/Current account or another bank's account in SGD. |
Q4. | What is a “Payee Bank”? |
A | This field refers to your payee's (beneficiary) bank. If in doubt of the correct bank to select, please contact your payee (beneficiary) for the Payee Bank Code. |
Q5. | What is a “Payee Branch”? |
A | This field refers to your payee's (beneficiary) branch. If in doubt of the correct branch to select, please contact your payee (beneficiary) or payee's (beneficiary's) bank for the Payee Branch Code. Note that this field is not required if you are transferring funds to a UOB Saving/Current account. |
Q6. | What is a “Payee Name”? |
A | This field is a short description label for your payee. Note that this is for your personal reference within UOB Personal Internet Banking and will not be reflected in your account statements. |
Q7. | I do not have my mobile phone/Token device to authorise the transaction. How do I authorise the pending payee in my next login? |
A | To authorise pending authorisation payee, simply click on Funds Transfer > Manage Payees from the left navigation menu. You will be able to view your list of Authorised and Pending Authorisation Payee here. Under Pending Authorisation Payee list, click on the beneficiary name to authorise the beneficiary. Once authorised, you may click on “Make A Transfer To This Payee” button to perform the transfer. Note that all funds transfer payees not authorised after three calendar days will be removed from “Manage Payees” page. |
Q8. | I have entered an incorrect payee crediting account/bank code/branch code. What should I do? |
A | If you have entered incorrect payee details, please delete the incorrect payee setup and any scheduled future-dated/recurring transfer to the payee and set up a new one. Note that 2FA authentication will be required to add a new funds transfer payee. You will need to delete the scheduled transfer arrangement at least one working day in advance of the transfer date as you will not be able to delete transfers scheduled for the same day. |
Q9. | How do I delete a payee? |
A | To delete pending/authorised payee, simply click on Funds Transfer > Manage Payees from the left navigation menu. |
Q10. | I would like to transfer funds between my linked UOB accounts. Am I required to set up the arrangement? |
A | You are not required to add payee if both your UOB accounts are currently linked to UOB Personal Internet Banking. To perform the transfer, simply click on Funds Transfer > Make Transfer from left navigation menu. |

A | This feature allows you to view, edit authorised Payee Name, authorise pending funds transfer payee or delete funds transfer payee. Note that 2FA authentication will be required to add a new funds transfer payee. |

Q1. | What can I do with this feature? |
A | This feature allows you to perform immediate, recurring and future-dated funds transfer between your own linked UOB accounts, to a third-party UOB account or another bank's account. You can schedule transfers up to 1 year in advance on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or half-yearly basis. You may also transfer funds from your account maintained with other banks to your SGD UOB account or a third-party SGD UOB account using Incoming Funds Transfer service. To apply for Incoming Funds Transfer, simply click on Funds Transfer > Incoming Funds Transfer Application from the left navigation menu. Note that recurring or post-dated transfer using Incoming Funds Transfer is not supported. For transfers to a third-party UPB account of another bank's account, please set up the funds transfer payee under “Add Payee”. Note that 2FA authentication will be required to add a new funds transfer payee. |
Q2. | What do I need to perform funds transfer via UOB Personal Internet Banking? |
A | You will need to have an existing Savings/Current account (Savings, TX, Uniplus, Campus, Current, i-Account, FlexiDeposit, Global Currency, CashPlus Account) linked to UOB Personal Internet Banking. You are also able to transfer funds from your UOB Principal Credit Card to a SGD deposit account (own UOB deposit account, third-party UOB deposit account and other bank's deposit account). Note:

Q3. | What is the default funds transfer limit? Can I increase/decrease the limit? |
A | There is no maximum limit for funds transfer between your own UOB accounts. The default daily limit allowed for funds transfer to Other UOB accounts and Other Bank's account is S$5,000. For Wealth Banking/Privilege Banking/Privilege Reserve and Private Banking customers, the default daily limit is S$10,000. If you require an increase, simply click on Customer Service > Change Limits from the left navigation menu to change your limit. You may request up to S$20,000 daily limit. For Wealth Banking customers, you may request up to S$50,000 daily limit. For Privilege Banking/Privilege Reserve and Private Banking customers, you may request up to S$100,000 daily limit. |
Q4. | How do I know my remaining funds transfer limit for the day? |
A | The remaining limit is stated at the beginning of “Make Transfer” page. |
Q5. | How do I increase/reduce my current funds transfer limit? |
A | To change your limit, simply click on Customer Service > Change Limits from the left navigation menu. |
Q6. | Can I transfer funds in foreign currency? |
A | You are able to perform funds transfer in foreign currency if the debiting or crediting account is either a SGD or USD account. Note that foreign currency funds transfer is only applicable for immediate transfers between UOB accounts. |
Q7. | What is the exchange rate used for transfer in foreign currency? |
A | The foreign currency rate will be based on the Bank's prevailing exchange rate as of the date and time of processing by the Bank. |
Q8. | Can I transfer funds using my credit card account? I am a Principal cardmember. |
A | Yes. You are able to transfer funds from your UOB Principal Credit Card to a SGD deposit account (own UOB deposit account, third-party UOB deposit account and other bank's deposit account). Funds Transfer from Credit Card account to line of credit accounts (eg: CashPlus) and other Credit Card accounts are not allowed. Note that funds transfer from a Credit Card account will be treated as Credit Card Cash Advance and the following charges apply:

Q9. | Can I transfer funds to an overseas bank account? |
A | You will need to perform Telegraphic Transfer to transfer funds overseas and are required to add beneficiary if you are transferring funds to a new beneficiary. To do so, simply click on Remittances > Add Beneficiary > Telegraphic Transfer from the left navigation menu. |
Q10. | I would like to transfer funds from my other bank account to a UOB account via UOB Personal Internet Banking? How do I do that? |
A | To transfer funds from your SGD account with another bank to a SGD UOB account (own or third-party), please set up an Incoming Funds Transfer Arrangement. To do so, simply click on Funds Transfer > Incoming Funds Transfer Application from the left navigation menu. Please allow four to six weeks for processing of Incoming Funds Transfer Application. Note that recurring or post-dated transfers using Incoming Funds Transfer are not supported and it takes four to five business days for an Incoming Funds Transfer to be completed. |
Q11. | When will the payee receive the funds? |
A | SGD funds transfer between UOB accounts is immediate. Funds transfer to other banks submitted after 3.30pm will be treated as the next business day's transaction. Please allow two to three business days for the funds to reach the designated account. If you are debiting funds from an Incoming Funds Transfer account, please allow four to five business days for the funds to reach the designated account. Transfers made to an account of different currency between 6pm to 10.30am (Monday – Friday) or on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays will be treated as the next business day's transaction. |
Q12. | How do I know if the transfer is successful? |
A | To check the status of your funds transfer, simply click on Account Information > Online Transaction Status from the left navigation menu. You can view the details up to the last 90 days. You may also subscribe to UniAlerts, a value-added service that alerts you on your account activities via SMS or email. Simply click on Customer Service > Manage UniAlerts Subscription from the left navigation menu to view the alerts available for subscription. |

Q1. | What can I do with this feature? |
A | Quick Funds Transfer allows you to perform ad-hoc funds transfer up to SGD100 per day, without having to ‘Add payee’ first & then transferring the money. |
Q2. | Can I increase the limit for Quick Funds Transfer? |
A | The ability to increase/decrease the limit for Quick Funds Transfer is currently not available. |
Q3. | Can I schedule future-dated/ recurring Quick Funds Transfer? |
A | Quick Funds Transfer is an immediate Funds Transfer feature that leverages on the Fast Network. Future-dated/ recurring features are not available. |

Q1. | What can I do with this feature? |
A | This feature allows you to view or delete your future-dated and recurring transfer arrangements. You can also change the transfer date, amount and initial field of your scheduled transfers. Note that you will need to delete/amend the scheduled transfer arrangement at least one working day in advance of the transfer date as you will not be able to delete/amend transfers scheduled for the same day. |
Q2. | I have scheduled a transfer to a payee account that has closed. How do I change the crediting account? |
A | Please delete the existing payee and any scheduled future-dated/recurring transfer to the payee and set up a new one. Note that 2FA authentication will be required to add a new funds transfer payee. You will need to delete the scheduled transfer arrangement at least one working day in advance of the transfer date as you will not be able to delete transfers scheduled for the same day. |

Q1. | What can I do with this feature? |
A | This feature allows you to apply for Incoming Funds Transfer. With Incoming Funds Transfer, you can transfer funds from your SGD account maintained with another bank to your SGD UOB account or a third-party SGD UOB account. Note that recurring or post-dated transfers using Incoming Funds Transfer are not supported. |
Q2. | Are there any charges for using Incoming Funds Transfer facility? |
A | Incoming Funds Transfer service is currently free of charge. You may wish to check with your nominated bank if there are any applicable fees/interest rate imposed for funds debited from the nominated account. |
Q3. | How do I apply for Incoming Funds Transfer? |
A | You will need to complete the application online via UOB Personal Internet Banking. Upon successful submission of the online form, you are required to print, sign and mail the online form to us to complete the application process. |
Q4. | Can I fax the application form? |
A | Please note that a fax copy of the Incoming Funds Transfer application form is not accepted. Kindly mail the signed form to us at the address stipulated on the form. |
Q5. | I have just submitted my Incoming Funds Transfer application. When will I be notified of the status? |
A | You will receive a notification from us within four to six weeks from our receipt of your application. |
Q6. | I have received a notification letter that my application has been approved. How do I transfer funds from the nominated other bank account? |
A | Once your application is approved, you may login to UOB Personal Internet Banking to transfer your funds. From left navigation menu, simply click on Funds Transfer > Make Transfer. You should be able to see your other bank's account details on the "From" list. Select the account if you wish to transfer funds from your other bank account. If you have not added any funds transfer payee, please click on Funds Transfer > Add Payee from the left navigation menu to set up the recipient's account first. Note that it takes four to five business days for the funds to reach the designated account. |

A | It takes four to five business days for the funds to reach the designated account. |
Q8. | Does the daily funds transfer limit apply if I were to transfer funds using Incoming Funds Transfer? |
A | Yes. Funds transferred using Incoming Funds Transfer service are subject to the funds transfer daily limit. Note that Incoming Funds Transfer is only available for funds transferred to a UOB SGD account. |

A | Incoming Funds Transfer is only available for funds transfer to a UOB SGD account. You may wish to transfer the funds to your UOB account that is eligible to perform Bill Payment. Once the funds are in your UOB account, you may then perform bill payment by debiting funds from your UOB account. |
Q11. | I have performed a funds transfer using my account with other bank (using Incoming Funds Transfer). How do I check the status of this transfer? |
A | To check the status of your Incoming Funds Transfer, simply click on Account Information > Online Transaction Status from the left navigation menu. You may also wish to subscribe to our UniAlerts service, a value-added service that alerts you on your account activities via SMS/email. To register your contact details, simply click on Customer Service > Manage UniAlerts Settings from the left navigation menu. To subscribe to the alerts, simply click on Customer Service > Manage UniAlerts Subscription. |

A | You will need to delete the arrangement online. To do so, simply click on Funds Transfer > Manage Incoming Funds Transfer from the left navigation menu. |
